Overview. The World Bank estimates that Bangladesh will grow at 6.9% in fiscal year 2022-23. The central bank has reduced the single borrower exposure limit from 35% to 25% to contain the concentration of loans to a smaller group of people, while remittances increased slightly after 6 consecutive months of decreasing figures.
